With the kiddies on school holidays and Easter around the corner, time is precious and spending hours in the kitchen baking for Easter gatherings is not always possible. That is why I LOVE this fun cute way of dazzling the basic brownie! Seriously takes no time at all, looks amazing AND you can get the kids involved. YAY!

If you do have hours to spend baking, pull out your good old favourite brownie recipe and bake your chocolaty delight from scratch…if not, your good old favourite store bought packet mix brownie will be just as delish!

What you need:

Using a knife or spatula, spread the chocolate icing all over the brownie slab. I used the below icing recipe. {Nutella would also be SO good!}

Sprinkle the iced brownie slab with EGGSTAVAGANZA – um, how cute are the mini egg shaped confetti!

For some extra Easter goodness, I also popped a few of my favourite mini eggs on top! This would be super fun also with mini milk choc eggs or even white choc or caramel filled…

Slice and devour!

  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 50g soft unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons warm milk

Combine the icing sugar and cocoa powder. Add the butter and milk and mix together until all ingredients are well combined, adding additional milk as required until the texture is smooth and a spreadable consistency.
